To effectively maximize each skater’s time and space on the track as well as attention from the coaching group,  the camp is limited to 30 skater participants.  In order to cater specifically to this exclusive group’s needs, boot campers will fill out a questionnaire to identify ability level and areas of interest. The All-Stars will then design the camp to cater to skaters attending!  Unlimited spectator passes are also available for people to take notes on drills and strategies off skates.

This boot camp is intended for skaters who are 18 and older, have passed WFTDA minimum skills, and already have some roller derby experience playing in scrimmages and/or games. If you’re a new skater interested in roller derby we encourage you to check out our Reckless Rollers program.

Skater participants are encouraged to assess their own skill level. BAD All-Stars recommend using the following guidelines.:

  • Beginner: You have passed WFTDA minimum skills, have skated in some scrimmages and/or games, still have a lot to learn on and off the track but are excited for new challenges.
  • Intermediate: You have passed WFTDA minimum skills, can confidently skate and scrimmage, may be on your league’s B-team but are looking to progress to the next level.
  • Advanced: You have passed WFTDA minimum skills, can skate confidently forwards and backwards and are on your league’s A-team.

All skaters must provide proof of WFTDA, USARS, or equivalent insurance coverage.
